You can do this mainly in three ways. You can choose any of them to setup your Belkin router.

Method 1: Using the Belkin setup disk

1. Connect the modem to your Belkin router using an ethernet cable.
2. Connect your internet modem to the power supply.
3. Plugin the Belkin router to its power supply.
4. Insert the Belkin setup disk that came with your router into your system.
5. Click on the “run easy install wizard”, then follow the on-screen instructions to
connect the internet.
6. Click on Finish

Method 2: Troubleshooting Belkin router setup.

1. Position your Belkin router away from the obstacles and appliances that might
be causing interference if you are unable to establish or maintain a strong
internet connection.
2. Try disconnecting your modem from the router if you are facing problems
accessing the web-based setup.
3. Clear your internet browser’s cache and browsing history if you are facing
problems accessing the web-based setup.
4. Press and hold the reset button for at least 15 seconds on your Belkin router if
you are not unable to login directly into the router.

This method is quite long. But you can easily setup your internet connection.

Method 3: Using the manual setup

1. Connect the modem to your Belkin router setup using an ethernet cable.
2. Reconnect your internet modem to its power supply.
3. Plugin the Belkin router to its power supply.
4. Use another ethernet cable to connect your computer directly to the router.
5. Launch the web browser in your computer and type “192.681.2.1” into the
address bar.
6. Click on the login
7. Leave the password field blank and click on submit.
8. Click on the “connection type” under the “Internet WAN” section.
9. Select your internet connection type.
10. Enter the network details provided by your internet service provider and click
on “ apply changes”
11. Verify the status of your internet connection.

Hi profulla..I use the same belkin router.I solved it

Steps..
>Connect the LAN cable from tikona booster directly in to LAN port (Not in yellow Wan port)
>take belking router console and select to use it as access point
>then restart belking adsl router & connect it to your laptop
>then take browser & login to 1.254.254.254 (my tikona device's ip,check your device ip)
>Login to it.
>now surf google

Note: If everything works..you need to register the device to tikona by login to tikona device consiole (for me 1.254.254.254) & do automatic login and place the otp ...

If any doubt call me

I did not receive your calls when I was not at home..
When I came home, I called the router setup team.
So far, two different engineers tried to help me at two different times.
None could solve the problem yet.

Let me ask a question -
Is Belkin Router N300 supported by you or not?
If not, please clearly tell so.. I will be happy to change the router.
But in that case please give me the list of routers along with specific models that are supported.

Belkin wifi router setup issue

Postby Prafulla » November 20th, 2015, 3:16 pm

Hello,
I have configured my Belkin wifi router using belkin setup site http://192.168.2.1/

After selecting Connection Type as Dynamic, Hostname=Blank and other recommended setting as per Tikona router team member, the router is still not connecting [ status=Not connected].

Tikona router team member says that the router is correctly configured.
My router supports Ethernet RJ45 connections.

When I try to load Tikona Login page, it stays in 'Loading .. please wait' state.

So, please let me know correct values of all required parameters to fix this issue.
