Please find below the behavior for Password Change / Reset through the password portal (https://apps.tikona.in/PasswordGenerator/ )
Step 1 :- Access the portal through the Reset Password link on Login Page / Self-Care Page
Step 2 :- Enter the 10-digit Service-id , Password & the characters as displayed in the capcha image and click on the “Reset Password” button.
Step 3 :- The request will be accepted and the verification code will be displayed.
Step 4 :- Send sms from the user’s registered mobile as “CPASS <Service-id> <Verifiation-code>” to 5676708 within 1 hr of submitting the request in Step 3. ( Keep one blank space between CPASS and service ID as well as between Service ID and Verification-code)
Step 5 :- If correct sms is sent then user will receive sms confirming the same “Subscriber, your Tikona Wi-Bro password has been changed, Happy Surfing.”
Step 6 :- Subscriber can now login using the password that was entered in Step 2.
Validations & Error scenarios on portal:-
Error 1 :- Invalid service-id
Solution: Enter Proper 10-digit valid service ID
Error 2 :- Invalid Password Scenarios are as below
i. Requires min 8 characters
Solution: Please set password with at least 8 character
ii. Should not be same as previous password
Solution: Don’t keep your password same as previous one.
iii. Password cannot be Weak!!!
Solution: Strong password contains at-least 1character in Upper Case, 1 character in Lower Case, 1 Number and 1 special character. Minimum length 8 characters.
Error 3 :- Captcha Verification failed
Solution: Please enter correct text of captcha field, you can also refresh captcha field in case not able to understand.
Error 4 :-
Your request has already been registered and code generated.
Please Send Following SMS to 5676708.
CPASS xxxxxxxxxx xxxxxx
before xx-NOV-12 xx:xx:xx PM .
Reason: New Request submitted within 1 hr of Step 2 and Correct verification code not sent through sms.
Solution: Please send CPASS message which is displayed on portal through register Mobile number.
Error 5 :-
Your password request has already been registered and processed. Please Try After xx-NOV-12 xx:xx:xx PM
Reason: New Request submitted within 1 hr of Step 2 and Correct verification code sent through sms and password changed successfully.
Solution: If you again want to reset password then wait till time specified on portal.
Error 6 :-
Your password change request has expired. Please Try After xx-NOV-12 xx:xx:xx PM .
Reason: New Request submitted beyond 1 hr of Step 2.
Solution: Wait for specified time duration and then send new request.
